Participate in a meeting of vintage cars at the Automobile Museum.
Every first Sunday of the month, participate in a meeting of old cars at the Automobile Museum, organized by the International Association of Friends of the Museum (AIAM).
This event will take place for the next edition on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the museum’s racetrack.
This rally is reserved for vehicles registered before 31/12/1980.
All participants are welcome with their vehicle.
The entry of participants with a vehicle is via avenue 198 de Colmar, where a check will be carried out.
For visitors, the entrance is at 17 rue de la Mertzau 68100 Mulhouse (the museum’s visitor parking). Access is free.

Symbol of speed, innovation and legend, Formula 1 invites itself to the Musée National de l’Automobile – Collection Schlumpf de Mulhouse, as part of a major exhibition.
Born in 1950, Formula 1 is both a sports championship, a technological laboratory and a popular myth worldwide. It embodies more than 70 years of mechanical, aerodynamic and human innovations that have profoundly marked the history of the automobile and our relationship with performance, speed and technology.
From April 11 to November 1, 2026, discover the exhibition 'Formule 1' at the National Automobile Museum.
The exhibition will present around fifty iconic single-seaters, covering the entire history of Formula 1, from its origins to contemporary years.
Among the major periods addressed:
The pioneers (1950s): Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Ferrari – the heroic age of discipline.
The 1960s–1970s: chassis revolution, engines rear, first major aerodynamic developments.
The 1980s–1990s: era of turbo engines, domination technological, extreme professionalization.
Modern Formula 1: safety, hybridization, aerodynamics advanced and data.
Beyond the single-seaters, the exhibition will present a selection of historical and symbolic objects, having belonged to all the greatest champions such as Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Max Verstappen and many others: helmets and combinations, trophies, period documents (photographs, licences, correspondence), graphic elements and audiovisual devices from official archives.

The Art of Drifting

For the first time, the Musée National de l'Automobile is opening its autodrome to a 100% Drift event.
A mythical place opens its doors to a discipline still little seen here with a simple desire: to share drift differently.
On April 18 & 19, 2026, the Autodrome of the National Automobile Museum hosts drift demonstrations, meetings, a friendly atmosphere and a concert on Saturday evening.
A first edition thought as a human experience, accessible to all and authentic, at the crossroads of the automobile and culture.

Schlumpf International Elegance Contest

A meeting where style, history and automotive passion meet.
On June 27 and 28, 2026, the National Automobile Museum will host the Schlumpf elegance contest according to the official rules of the FFVE on its autodrome.
The competition brings together passionate owners, collectors and professionals who come to present rare cars, restored or preserved with a high level of requirement. Each vehicle is staged, narrated and valued, in order to highlight its identity, its era and the spirit in which it was designed. Elegance is not limited to the car: it also expresses itself in the presentation, appearance and general atmosphere of the event.
Organized within the museum, the Schlumpf Elegance Contest creates a unique dialogue between the permanent collection and the guest vehicles. It transforms the site into a true automotive theatre, where heritage, passion and excellence meet for an exceptional weekend, faithful to the spirit and reputation of the Schlumpf Collection.

The exhibition "VROUM, small cars and big children" pays tribute to the fascinating universe of miniature cars, these little bolides that have made generations dream since the 1940s.
Along the way, discover iconic models in scale 1/43, the legendary brand Norev which is celebrating its 80th anniversary, as well as a varied collection of pedal cars, old advertisements and even cars, such as a Ferrari, the Peugeot 402 or even the 4L Bertin.
Between nostalgia, curiosity and wonder, this exhibition invites young and old to (re)discover the toy as an object of memory, transmission and dream.

Go behind the scenes at the Musée National de l'Automobile !
The Mulhouse Automobile Museum houses one of the most fabulous collections in the world: more than 600 vehicles from 1878 to the present day, around fifty of which are kept in working order. How are these vehicles of all ages restored and maintained? How can authenticity be combined with repairs? The museum's restoration team invites you to discover its workshop.
Visits to the restoration workshop are free of charge and without reservation.
Visits to the permanent and temporary exhibitions are subject to a charge.

It's a day to get together with classic cars, see them drive and hear them drive as they did in their heyday.
On Sunday 21 September, the Musée de l'Automobile autodrome will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm for a feast for the eyes and ears.
On the programme:
- The museum's cars take to the track (subject to favourable weather conditions) at 11am - 2pm - 3pm.
- The Soléa buses with their vintage buses, will be on hand.
- The museum's restoration workshop will be open for visits.
- Participants will also be able to take their own vehicles for a drive around the autodrome, and bring along other people if they wish.

Auto Mülh aims to be a carefully organized automotive event, where influential personalities and brands can meet, shaping the future of automotive culture.
On May 24 and 25, 2025, the Autodrome du Musée de l'Automobile de Mulhouse will host Auto Mülh 2025 , an event dedicated to classic German car enthusiasts.
This international gathering features carefully selected emblematic vehicles, offering visitors an authentic immersion in automotive culture. The program includes exchanges between enthusiasts, a unique atmosphere and a selection of exceptional cars.

Eurovision village on the museum's autodrome
As part of Eurovision, which is taking place in Basel, an 11-day festival is being organised on the National Automobile Museum's autodrome.
From 8 to 18 May, come and experience the Eurovision atmosphere with :
- The presence of Louane, representing France
- Concerts with Linh, Yanns, Nej', Soledad and many other artists
- Live broadcasts of the semi-finals (13 & 15 May) and the grand final (17 May)
The Euro Village will feature karaoke, blind tests, entertainment, a roller disco track, food-trucks and more.
